How we started
We started our journey over the proverbial backyard fence...Peter Rapp, Jeffrey Plank, and Nancy Gill met at Baines Books and Coffee for an initial discussion on health inequities in the Town of Scottsville. The realization that much of the social/religious/food networks in rural areas is difficult to see--to define.

It became evident that if our region--approximately a 10 +/- radius of the Town of Scottsville--was to be effective in advocating for improved services in health care, we needed to explore our rural networks.

HEARR's goal is to advocate for the improvement of health outcomes in our region...we want to help build happy, healthy communities.
